On March 29, Gözde Doğan, Ph.D. gave an inspiring presentation to American University students in a Skills Institute on Cultural Diplomacy and Protocol, drawing on her 17 years as a Public Diplomacy Specialist at the U.S. Embassy in Türkiye.
Dr. Sherry Lee Mueller, a distinguished Professor at American University and former President of The Public Diplomacy Council of America, shared how Gözde beautifully reinforced the three Rs of cultural diplomacy:
- Reciprocity,
- Relationship Building, and the
- Relentless Search for Common Ground.
