The Lois Roth Foundation is approaching another milestone: our 35th anniversary! The organization was founded in 1987, soon after Lois’s untimely death, by her widower Dick Arndt. Check out the painting we use as the masthead of our FaceBook page, which commemorates their partnership! Since its founding, the Endowment has grown step by step, thanks to the donations of friends and alumni who have won a Cultural Diplomacy or Literary Translation award, or a Project Support grant for their work abroad. All these carry out the legacy of Lois Roth in promoting cross-cultural dialogue in our world.
